上海浦東展覽館位于上?？萍拣^和東方藝術中心之間，擁有三層樓面共15,000平方米的總面積，用來舉辦各種活動、展覽和會議，可同時容納20,000人次參觀者。

自2006年以來，上海浦東展覽館多次舉辦各類婚慶、服飾及奢侈品展覽，大多數都是免費入場。有些特別的藝術類展覽需要提前購票。

展覽館的2樓有540平方米的接待區域和咖啡廳，可供游客小歇。3樓有兩個半圓的大廳，還有兩個休息平臺。

上海浦東展覽館坐落于浦東新區政治與文化中心，合歡路201號。

浦東展覽館建筑風格簡約莊重、功能完善，工藝設計以人為本、利于管理，設備配置遵循“先進實用與可持續發展”的原則。龐大的玻璃幕墻設計，完美的裝飾，空間的模塊化利用及其先進的設施都展現出其獨特的創意，成為浦東乃至上海極具現代風格的又一功能性、標志性的建筑。

在中國改革開放總設計師鄧小平同志親自倡導下，1990年4月18日，黨中央、國務院宣布開發開放上海浦東。20年來，在上海市委、市政府的正確領導下，在全國人民的支持下，浦東開發開放取得了舉世矚目的成就，走出了一條高起點、跨越式的發展道路。浦東被譽為“中國改革開放的象征”和“上?，F代化建設的縮影”。如今，一座外向型、多功能、現代化的新城區在浦江東岸崛起。2009年4月，國務院批復同意南匯區并入浦東新區，浦東開發開放進入二次創業的新階段。 在開發開放20周年之際，浦東新區在浦東展覽館舉辦“浦東開發開放展”，系統總結浦東開發開放20年的光輝歷程和取得的重大成就，展示未來10年浦東開發開放的美好前景。浦東開發開放展為常年開放的展覽，由成果展、規劃展、產品展三部分組成，總展出面積約5000平方米。

On April 18th, 1990, advocated by Deng Xiaoping, the General Designer of China’s reform and opening-up policy, the Central Committee and the State Council announced the development and opening-up of Pudong, Shanghai. For 20 years, under the correct leadership of Shanghai CPC Committee and Municipal Government and supported by the people of the nation, Pudong has made great achievements that attract worldwide attention, and explored a high-standard and leap-forward development approach. Pudong is honored as the “symbol of China’s reform and opening-up” and the “epitome of Shanghai’s modernization”. An outward-oriented, multi-functional and modern new district is gradually rising along the east bank of Huangpu River. In April 2009, the State Council approved to merge Nanhui Administrative Area into Pudong New Area, marking that the development and opening-up of Pudong entered into the stage of second pioneering. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pudong’s development and opening-up, Pudong New Area holds the “Exhibition of Pudong New Area’s Development and Opening-up” in Pudong Expo. The Exhibition systematically showcases the glorious experiences and significant achievements in Pudong’s development and opening-up for 20 years and foresees the brilliant future 10 years ahead. As a permanent exposition with a showcase area of about 5,000 square meters, the Exhibition consists of three parts, i.e., Achievements, Planning, and Products.
